Team coach Mickey Arthur believes that this camp will help many players and Sri Lanka's team will be seen as a separate team after the Corona crisis.
Twenty20 captain Lasith Malinga will not be part of the team's second residential training camp in Kandy from June 22, as the 24-member squad has been announced on Thursday in which Sreesanth is not named. A six-member unit of coaches and other support staff will work with the players during the camp at Pallekele Stadium.
The team's head coach Mickey Arthur said, "The camp arrangements are intended to be the best preparation after the Corona crisis and to be ready to play at any time."
The squad members will continue to follow the health procedures, which are to be held during the first camp held in Colombo earlier this month. After the cancellation of India's tour, Sri Lanka's next international tour with Bangladesh was to be held in July, but now there is no firm information about it either.
